How we are building the report
The gap between 5.2% and the EU average is the question behind this research: is it about budgets, skills, data, regulation or the lack of proven use cases? The planned method:
Official baseline
We start from Eurostat's enterprise survey on the use of AI technologies, so every finding can be compared with official EU data.
Decision-maker survey
A structured questionnaire for business and technology leaders in Romanian companies: current AI use cases, budgets, blockers, build versus buy, and awareness of the EU AI Act.
Assessment data
Anonymised, aggregated answers from the free AI Readiness Assessment, shown only where the group is large enough that no company can be identified.
Open method
The report will publish the questions, sample description, limitations and data tables alongside the findings, so others can cite and check them.
