Methodology

Questions come from Grapefruit's earlier AI assessment and Digital Evaluator, grouped into 6 dimensions with 2 questions each. Yes scores 2, Partially 1, No or Not sure 0, converted to a 0 to 100 scale.

Strategy

Whether AI has a plan, an owner and a proven result.

1. Does your company have an AI roadmap or strategy?

A written plan that says which AI initiatives you will run, in what order and why.

2. Has at least one AI initiative produced a measurable improvement?

For example time saved, cost reduced or revenue added, measured against a baseline.

Questions about the assessment

Is the AI Readiness Assessment really free?

Yes. You see your score, your level, the score for each dimension and your top 3 next steps without giving an email address. We only ask for contact details if you want the full report sent to you, and a walkthrough call is optional.

Who should take the assessment?

Anyone who influences how their company uses AI: marketing, digital, product, IT, operations or leadership. The result is more useful when several colleagues take it, so use the team link to compare how different departments see the same company.

How is the score calculated?

Each answer scores 2 points for Yes, 1 for Partially and 0 for No or Not sure. Scores are converted to 0 to 100 overall and for each of the 6 dimensions. Below 40 is AI Beginner, 40 to 74 is AI Explorer and 75 or more is AI Accelerator.

What happens to my answers?

Your answers stay in your browser while you take the assessment and are not sent to us. If you request the full report, we receive your answers and contact details to prepare and send it, as described in our privacy policy.

Is this the same as the Grapefruit Digital Evaluator?

It is the new version. The Digital Evaluator measured digital maturity; this assessment keeps what worked, such as inviting colleagues, and focuses on how ready your company is to use AI in strategy, data, tools, content, people and governance.
