Grapefruit is an AI-first digital and software company from Romania, founded in 1999 and part of RCI Holding, that designs, builds and grows AI solutions and digital products for enterprises in automotive, banking, energy and consumer brands. Founded in Iasi
We started as one of Romania's first digital agencies, at the start of the commercial web.
2001
Into web development
We began translating complex business needs into web platforms, not just brand work.

Bucharest office
A second hub in Bucharest, closer to the enterprise clients we were starting to serve.
2010
First platform for Dacia and Renault
bautozar.ro, an online auto marketplace, opened a partnership with Dacia that has now passed 20 years.

Known by then as a UX/UI-specialised agency, we grew turnover by 85% in a single year.

Car buying goes online
vanzari.dacia.ro launched with a Car Ingestion Engine that generates 100+ personalised specs and images per model.
