SCUT
SCUT: a secure cybersecurity brand website designed, built and launched in 3 weeks
In 2025, Grapefruit designed and built the website of SCUT, a new B2B cybersecurity brand and Orange Romania partner, in three weeks end to end to meet a fixed October 15 launch. With no prior visual identity, the team delivered UX, UI, a Next.js, Node.js and Strapi build, QA and security validation, launching on time.

Context
Overview
SCUT needed a fast and secure digital presence to support its market launch. With a fixed deadline and high security expectations, Grapefruit delivered for SCUT a scalable, performance-focused website in just three weeks, aligned with enterprise-grade standards and ready to grow alongside the brand.
Context
Client overview
SCUT is a newly launched B2B cybersecurity brand operating in a highly regulated, trust-driven market. The brand delivers advanced cybersecurity services for companies and works as one of Orange Romania’s partners.
As a new player in the cybersecurity space, SCUT needed to establish credibility fast with a digital presence that felt robust, professional, and secure from day one.

Challenge
The challenge
The objective was as clear as it was challenging: launch a website by October 15, 2025.
There was no room for delays, no buffer for exploration, and no pre-existing visual identity when the project kicked off. On top of that, security requirements were a central part of the brief from the start, understandably so, given SCUT’s core business. From the very first meeting, it was obvious this wouldn’t be a “business as usual” delivery. Decisions had to be fast, collaboration tight, and execution flawless.

Solution
The solution
We approached the project with a simple principle:
- keep the solution lean, but future-proof.
The website was designed as a clean, scalable digital foundation, optimized for performance, aligned with strict security standards, and flexible enough to grow alongside the brand. While the scope was intentionally focused, every technical and UX decision was made with long-term evolution in mind.
Just as important as the tech was the working relationship. From day one, both teams operated on the same wavelength: transparent communication, rapid feedback loops, and mutual trust replaced lengthy approval chains.

Implementation
Implementation
The project followed a compressed but structured delivery cycle:
- Design → Development → Testing → Client validation
Despite the tight timeline, all key disciplines were involved:
- UX & UI Design
- Front-End & Back-End Development
- QA & Security validation
- Account & Project Management
From a technical standpoint, the setup included:
- Next.js for Front-End performance and scalability
- Node.js Back-End architecture
- Strapi as a flexible CMS layer
Collaboration happened on two levels:
- With the Orange marketing team, which led the SCUT launch initiative
- Directly with the SCUT cybersecurity team, ensuring alignment with internal security standards
Total delivery time: 3 weeks, end-to-end.

Results
Results
While this project wasn’t designed around immediate performance metrics, the outcomes were clear:
- Successful on-time launch for a high-visibility market entry.
- Very positive client feedback on both execution speed and delivery quality.
- A digital presence that met the expectations of a cybersecurity-first audience.
- Proof that complex constraints don’t require complex processes, just the right team setup.

What happened next
Conclusion & next steps
This project proved that speed and quality don’t have to be trade-offs, even in security-sensitive industries. By aligning quickly and trusting collaboration on solid technical foundations, SCUT went from zero to a credible digital presence in record time.
The partnership continues at a maintenance level, with potential for future extensions as the brand evolves.
When timelines are tight, execution matters. Let’s talk.
